The Movie in 3 Sentences
- Ethan Hunt and the IMF as they try to stop the Entity, a rogue AI capable of destabilizing global intelligence and threatening humanity. The story continues from Dead Reckoning, bringing back Gabriel, the cruciform key, and the race to destroy the AI before governments and enemies use it for control. It is a huge, overstuffed finale, but at its heart it is still Ethan Hunt running, falling, diving, flying, and refusing to let the world end.
- The stunt work is astonishing. We watched the entire MI series as a buildup for this movie, and I can’t but just awe at Tom Cruise’s commitment and passion.
- This did feel like a heartfelt farewell. Many stories and clue pieces were neatly tied together in the movie.
